During a study abroad in Denmark, Kirsten deepened her love for painting by committing to a weekly blog series, usually on Wednesdays.

After returning home, she started making greeting cards and sold them on Etsy. Upon graduating, she paused Watercolor Wednesday to focus on her architecture career, but continued painting for personal joy.

A decade later, Watercolor Wednesday has grown into a brand and business. Through her art, she aims to capture the spirit of outdoor adventure - a love her and her husband share as they immerse their three boys into, life outside.
