Marine Layer started the day after the ownerʻs girlfriend threw away his favorite shirt. He wanted to recreate a shirt that would feel like his old favorite from day 1, so he wouldn't have to worry about anybody taking liberties with his closet + a trash can. Since then, heʻs gotten a bunch of friends to quit their jobs and help him make some clothes.

Together, theyʻve built a brand around absurdly soft shirts that are perfect for a 7-day weekend kinda lifestyle.
